The Expo 2020 Dubai site is rapidly taking shape, with new drone footage revealing the dramatic scale of Dubai’s next most iconic location, Al Wasl Plaza. The most exciting drone footage of the site yet also shows the advanced formation of the Mobility and Sustainability Pavilions and other structures.
More than 60 million work hours have been completed on the 4.38sqkm site. All construction is on track, with major works on Expo-built structures due to be completed by October 2019, a year before gates open on 20 October, 2020.
With more than 200 international participants, the first World Expo in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region is expected to attract 25 million visits during the six months of the event.
