Jazeera Airways has received the go ahead to build a KWD 14mn ($46.3mn) terminal at Kuwait International Airport.
The airline said the Kuwait Council of Ministers had approved its request for land to build the terminal which will help ease the congestion at the countrys only primary airport which is currently operating over capacity.
Kuwaits Directorate General for Civil Aviation notified the airline of the Cabinets approval for designating land for construction and operation of a dedicated passenger terminal and car park buildings.
The projects construction time frame is 15 months including the permits acquisitions phase, Jazeera announced.
