Mohammed has with the Eltizam Asset Management Group for nearly five years, witnessing the company’s exponential growth. His current role as Senior Executive Vice President requires me to focus on the facilities management division’s growth.
Under his supervision, Eltizam’s subsidiary, Tafawuq Facilities Management, has won significant contracts and renewals worth over AED 739 million in the first six months of 2020, setting a new company record.
There has been an increase of more than 120 percent in the company’s forward order book compared to the same period in 2019, which reflects the company’s business growth.
Tafawuq expanded in the education, tourism, and entertainment sectors in 2020 and added new clients to the portfolio. Significant clients include Abu Dhabi World Trade Center, Al Rabeeh School, Wadi Adventure, Modon, Tristar, and G42.
Mohammed told CBNME: “We also launched a new company called 800TEK, an industry, and consumer technical solutions provider, which has already secured more than AED 69.7 million in contracts and AED 60 million worth of revenue in the first year of its launch.”
With over 22 years of hands-on experience, Mohammed continuously works towards implementing the best practices and strategies for Eltizam’s Asset Management and facilities management services.
“We recently expanded to Egypt and partnered with the regional real estate developer Al Ahly Sabbour to launch Tafawuq Egypt and Three60 Egypt. Valued at AED 468 million, the partnership offers premium-quality integrated facilities management and community management services to the Egyptian market,” said Mohammed.
Mohammed also spearheads an aggressive expansion strategy for facilities management driven by technology, including digitization of hard and soft service tasks, MEP & Safety inspections, and reporting through Microsoft’s Power BI business analytics service. Eltizam have also acquired technological solutions provider OrionTEK to accelerate the group’s digital transformation.
“As part of Eltizam’s ‘Get Wonky’ culture framework, my role extends to organizing corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities to impact the communities we serve. For example, Tafawuq works with the Emirates Down Syndrome Association (EDSA) in Dubai to improve the quality of life of its members, and 800TEK supports Emirates Autism Centre in Abu Dhabi with an array of services to ensure the best environment for children to thrive in,” Mohammed concluded.
