Al-Waleed Real Estate announced the completion of the new shopping centre Meyan Mall in Jumeirah on Al Thanyah Street. The mall consists of a ground level, two upper floors and two basement parking levels that can accommodate 70 cars.
The new shopping centre contains 44 stores of various sizes. The units have been handed over to tenants who represent a diverse line of local and international brands. Tenants have begun implementing the interior designs of their respective units. It is expected that the mall will open its doors to visitors in the beginning of April.
CEO of Al-Waleed Investment Group, Mohammed Abdul Razzaq Al-Mutawa, said: “The UAE continues to succeed, achieve more and deliver iconic projects despite the current global challenges. Thanks to the guidance of our wise leadership, the UAE is placed amongst other international players as a leader in dealing with COVID-19 and minimising the economic downturns caused by the pandemic across different industries. “
Al-Mutawa added: “We are currently on the right path in implementing precautionary and safety measures to limit the spread of COVID-19, and in providing vaccines for the UAE population.
“Preliminary data indicates that the UAE will be one of the first countries to recover from the pandemic, in addition to securing the first place in vaccinating all of its population. We believe that this will also play a role in positively impacting our economic activities.”
