Gary will lead the support of Turner & Townsend’s infrastructure clients in transforming their performance in the delivery of the region’s most ambitious programmes and projects.
With over 20 years’ experience in working on major capital development programmes, Gary has held senior roles in several of the Middle East’s largest schemes. His roles include the Midfield Development Programme in Abu Dhabi, Terminal 5 at London Heathrow’s Airport and Dublin Airports Capital Investment Programme; supporting clients to setup their Programmes for success.
Gary’s appointment comes as the Middle East continues see infrastructure investment as it continues to diversify itself away from oil. Gary explained
“While significant investment will be made in new infrastructure, more clients want to maximise the life of their existing assets. Our experience in both ‘building the asset’ and ‘operating the asset’ will bring value to the region’s largest capital development programmes. Both Public and Private sectors in the Middle East will need to rise to the global challenge to reduce their carbon footprint, as leaders in Project, Portfolio and Programme management we will support our clients on their journey to Net Zero”.
With significant capital investment being made across the Middle East, the construction industry is facing both capability and capacity issues. The need for efficiency throughout the programme lifecycle has never been greater, driving demand for data and digitally driven tools.
