More than 1,000 air cargo leaders will join the International Air Transport Associations (Iata) 2017 World Cargo Symposium (WCS) taking place in Abu Dhabi from March 14-16, 2017.
As many as 40 exhibitors will also join the event, being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec).
The conference will open with two high-level speeches from James Hogan, president and CEO, Etihad Airways, who will set the stage for the conference in a welcome address. Alexandre de Juniac, Iatas director general and CEO, will follow with keynote remarks focused on how key transformations are required today to shape the industry for tomorrow.
WCS 2017 will feature plenary sessions, specialised tracks, workshops and executive summits, tackling aspects related to technology and innovation, security and customs, cargo operations, and sustainability.
Speakers from across the cargo supply chain will be there to share important industry updates, focusing the spotlight on key industry issues such as wildlife trafficking, special cargo, e-commerce, innovation, and sustainability.
