One of the oldest logistics firms in the UAE, MFC Group, was founded in 1977, and its CEO is Laurance Langdon. Laurance was responsible for restructuring the MFC Group in 2020 to prepare the company for life after COVID-19. Laurance has over 30 years of experience living and working abroad.
MFC is a diverse group of companies. MFC Extreme was concentrated on projects, events, sports, and GCC transportation, while Modern Freight specialised in international logistics, warehousing, and distribution. MFC Container Solutions sells and leases containers, offering storage, certifications, and repairs. It is one of the top container depots outside the UAE ports.
In the last 12 months, MFC has implemented and accomplished the primary objectives outlined in the IT transformation strategy: introducing a new ERP with cutting-edge data protection security and an internal operating system designed to meet business needs with a focus on automation. Sustainability: by installing solar panels to become a net energy producer, giving clients access to CO2 information about the carbon footprint of their cargo, planting mangroves to offset CO2, and modernising our warehouse equipment. Additionally, talent and workforce transformation can be achieved by investing in training and development, hiring recent graduates, and bringing
stability to the company by significantly reducing employee turnover.
The MFC Group is positioned as one of the UAE’s most dynamic and reliable businesses by achieving all three of these customer-centric strategic goals.
