Former DAMAC Properties managing director Ziad El Chaar has been appointed CEO of Saudi Arabian developer Dar Al Arkan Real Estate Development as of June 1, according to a bourse filing on Sunday.
The experienced El Chaar joined Dubai-based DAMAC Properties in 2005 and became managing director in 2011. It was announced last month that he had resigned his post though it was not revealed where he was going.
He replaces Abdulrehman Hamad Al-Harkan, who also resigned last month as CEO of Dar Al Arkan.
