Emirates Group Security, a multi-dimensional and highly versatile firm that designs, develops and distributes security and safety measures across the Emirates network, will host the global aviation security symposium in Dubai, between 8-10 October, 2017.
The third edition of the AVSEC event will gather some of the foremost and leading experts in the industry. The previous edition, in 2015, saw the number of attendees at 600 industry professionals and over 20 key sponsors and exhibitors. The upcoming event will aspire to build on the solid foundation that it has been provided with and attract a significantly higher number of attendees.
In addition to an exhibition, the symposium will also feature the International Awards of Excellence in Aviation Security, which will recognise and praise outstanding performance and achievements in the global aviation security industry.
The 2017 edition of the AVSEC global symposium will be themed Ahead of Tomorrow, showing a great focus being devoted to the ideas and innovations that veterans hope will drive the industry in the future.
The symposium is slated to bring together some of the most prominent industry leaders in global security to discuss critical security challenges of the future including Sir Tim Clark, president, Emirates Airline and Khoo Boon Hui, former president of Interpol. The conference will be inaugurated by HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman and chief executive, Emirates Airline and Group.
