Sharjah Holding, a partnership between Majid Al Futtaim-Properties and Sharjah Asset Management, inaugurated the AED56mn extension of Matajer Al Juraina, with 16 new brands and restaurants, increasing the community malls size by a third.
Matajer Al Jurainas enhancement project has increased the size of the mall from 6,000 to 9,000sqm, with number of stores growing from 35 to 51, and the carpark now featuring 281 spaces for visitors.

Brands such as gift and stationery brand, Typo, are making their Sharjah debut with a new store at Matajer Al Juraina. Visitors, including students studying nearby, can shop for trendy apparel at Max and Annabelle outlets. The malls contemporary design boasts a shaded pergola for outdoor dining, set in the verdant surroundings of Sharjahs university neighborhood. Matajer Al Juraina has also widened its day-to-day service offerings with the opening of currency bureau UAE Exchange and Life Pharmacy.
Other Matajer malls that serve the everyday lifestyle needs of residents in key communities in Sharjah include Matajer Al Quoz, Matajer Al Khan, and Matajer Al Mirgab, with plans to open three more community malls Matajer Al Seyouh, Matajer Al Rahmaniyah, and Matajer Al Musalla announced last year.
