Al Shirawi Interiors announced that the fit-out work at Silicon Park, tagged as the first smart city project in Dubai, is well underway.
Fit-out scope includes the projects business centre, serviced apartments, hotel, fitness centre, and public spaces in over 19 buildings spread across its office, residential, and boutique building clusters. Al Shirawi Interiors is gearing up for handover in Q4 2018, after signing the contract in November 2017.
The massive 150,000sqm mixed-used development of Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) was master-planned and architecturally designed by Design & Architecture Bureau (DAR) in line with the Dubai Government’s strategic direction on smart cities. It complies with the UAEs green building regulations as well as international LEED standards.

Construction work on Silicon Park is scheduled for completion in Q1 2019. When fully operational, it is expected to feature smart solutions from charging-docks for smart devices on the street to smart pop-up furniture and digital play tables, as well as optimally-designed bus shelters, piazzas shading, and electric vehicles charging stations.
