Aiming to enhance facilities for its own staff, Dubai-based Ducab celebrated the groundbreaking of its new accommodation facilities in Jebel Ali area.
The two two-storey blocks will be the first of their kind in the company’s accommodation site. The new residential site will feature an amenity building with a laundry and a prayer room, as well as extra storage rooms and a recreational area. Each room will also have its own balcony.
As of 2018, the group comprises several business units, including Ducab Wires and Cables; Ducab High
Voltage (HV), a joint venture between Ducab, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), and Abu
Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority (ADWEA); Ducab Metals, which supplies copper rod and wire to the
region; and Ducab Aluminium Company (DAC), a joint venture between Ducab and Senaat which
manufactures aluminium rod and conductors.
Ducab operates six manufacturing facilities across four sites in the UAE with all its production based within the country. With revenues close to $1.5bn employing over 1500, the company serves customers worldwide in the fields of energy, general construction, oil & gas, renewables, industrial, defence, rail transport, marine, mining, and other specialty industry verticals.
