Sohar Freezone signed a land lease agreement with the National Veterinary Vaccine Company (NVVCO) to establish its first animal vaccine manufacturing facility at the Freezone. In a signing ceremony held at Hormuz Grand Hotel Muscat, the agreement will see an animal vaccine manufacturing facility on 10,000 sqm land capable of producing 144 million doses per year to treat and prevent illnesses such as Foot Mouth Disease and Bird Flu. Bee’ah Tandeef has launched a used cooking oil recycling service, aiming to reduce the negative impact of typical disposal methods while contributing to a zero-waste future. In line with its ongoing commitment to demonstrate sustainable governance practices, Dubai Investments has further strengthened its partnership with TotalEnergies by installing photovoltaic (PV) rooftop systems on its Emirates Glass and Lumiglass Industries facilities in the UAE, promoting the use of solar energy.
