Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) and Dubai Courts launched a Virtual Court, a first in the Middle East, to handle labour litigations involving companies operating from the free zone and its employees. The parties involved in labour litigations can approach the Virtual Court that is equipped with a live broadcast system linked to Dubai Courts and the highest levels of electronic security. Gulf Cryo, a provider of industrial gas solutions, has completed two ground-breaking CO2 foam acid fracking pilots at Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) Raudhatain oilfield, contributing towards reducing carbon emissions and enhancing gas recovery. In this context, Gulf Cryo, being a regional (green) CO2 manufacturer with extensive logistical capabilities, teamed up with two of the largest oilfield service providers Halliburton and Schlumberger, and mobilised more than 1,000 metric tonnes of Liquid CO2 into KOC oilfield. GrubTech, an all-in-one platform for restaurants and cloud kitchens launched the first 3D printed smart locker system in a partnership with Talabat, the region’s online food and qCommerce (Quick Commerce) delivery platform. Abu Dhabi-owned premium private aviation firm RoyalJet has expanded its presence in the UAE, adding Dubai as a new operating base. In addition to its existing operational bases at Abu Dhabi International Airport and Al Bateen International Airport (Abu Dhabi’s city airport), RoyalJet is now basing aircraft from its fleet at Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) in Dubai.
