The British Approvals Service for Cables (BASEC) has been selected as the Approved Body for the UK Construction Products Regulation (CPR) by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG). An industrial facility comprising 372,856 sqft has been obtained by the Capital Trust Group in the suburban Milwaukee community of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, US. The facility is a research and development, manufacturing and testing facility and has an adjacent 118,620 sqft corporate office. The acquisition was arranged by JLL Capital Markets between Capital Trust Group and Bascom Group, a private equity firm. Apart from arranging the joint venture, JLL also prepared USD63.7 million in financing for a total cost of USD100.2 million for the acquisition. District cooling developer, Tabreed, has signed an agreement with Miral to provide cooling services to Abu Dhabi’s marine life theme park, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi. Tabreed will connect the new SeaWorld Abu Dhabi development to its existing Yas Island district cooling scheme and will deliver a cooling capacity of 7,500 refrigeration tonnes with a total concession capacity of 15,000 refrigeration tons (RT).
