Virgin Hyperloop One, the only company that has developed a full scale hyperloop system, announced today that Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Group Chairman and CEO of DP World, has been elected as its new Chairman. This news comes after Richard Branson announced that he would be stepping down, saying the company needs a more actively involved leader. Currently at work, the Raimondi MRT159 with a Height Under Hook (HUH) of 48 meters and a jib length of 65 meters, will reach a final HUH of 98 meters with two collars. The port will be replaced by an integrated mixed-use waterfront destination that will cost approximately $2 billion.
