Fujairah Terminals, an operational arm wholly owned by Abu Dhabi Ports, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with United Steel Industries (USI), a premier manufacturer of rebars, rods and wire coils. The agreement supports the handling of the company’s import and export shipments through Port of Fujairah. Also, Fujairah Terminals will facilitate all required logistics support for the company. by Kasun Illankoon Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced it will start the construction of three new footbridges in different parts of Dubai. According to the RTA, currently the junction is used by about 2300 persons and 2000 vehicles during peak hours. More than 1000 people cross the junction to head to the JBR during the weekends. Moreover, the Dubai Tram crosses the intersection every six minutes. The area accommodates two Tram stations and one bus stop, and there are no pedestrian crossings nearby. Dubai-based airline flydubai and Swiss Aviation Software (Swiss-AS) have integrated the flydubai Engineering Maintenance System (AMOS) with FedEx Web Services, which are designed to enhance air waybill generation and the transition towards paperless documentation.
