GT USA’s Canaveral Cargo Terminal (CCT) successfully won a bid to receive and assist in assembling one of Liebherr’s most giant mobile harbour cranes in the US at its terminal. The heavy lift operation took approximately five days, where SAL Heavy Lift, a member of the Jumbo-SAL Alliance, brought the vessel Frauke to Port Canaveral. The heavy lift project consisted of multiple pieces of a Liebherr TCC-BOS 14000 crane, where one of the pieces discharged weighed a GT record-breaking 680 metric tonnes. Average warehouse rents in Riyadh have risen by 20% during H1, according to global real estate consultancy Knight Frank’s H1 Saudi Arabia Industrial Market Review. The warehouse market in the Kingdom remains undersupplied, and predictably, Knight Frank says, rents remain on a sharp upward trajectory, climbing by 15% in Jeddah and 20% in Riyadh over the last 12 months.
