HOK has been selected to design Kuwait University’s new College of Architecture and College of Computing Sciences and Engineering buildings at the Sabah Al-Salem University City campus at Shadadiyah. Totaling 477,000 square feet, these buildings will complete the initial build-out of the 64.6 million sq ft. Sabah Al-Salem Kuwait University City campus, which was decreed in 2004 and is southwest of Kuwait City. Dubai Properties (DP) is close to beefing up its affordable housing portfolio with the addition of 18 new buildings in Dubailand available for lease. Construction progress on the new buildings in Remraam, consisting of 1,441 units, has reached 90 percent and will be handed over by the fourth quarter of 2017 along with a second community centre. Dubai Properties has previously handed over 60 buildings at the Remraam development, it said in a statement.
