The chief executive of Habtoor Leighton Group has been detained by authorities in Dubai. In a statement to the Australian Stock Exchange this morning, Cimic, which owns a 45 percent stake in the contractor, said Jose Antonio Lopez-Monis was being held by Dubai police, without providing any further details.
