Nakheel is planning to partner Thailand-based Centara Hotels and Resorts to create a 550-room resort at Dubai’s newest tourism hotspot – Deira Islands. New York-based Brookfield Property Partners has collaborated with Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) on the mixed-use Manhattan West development project in New York City. Brookfield sold a 44% interest in the development to QIA. The Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council (UPC) has planned more than four hundred villas for Emiratis in a beachfront community development in Al Gharbia, Abu Dhabi. The residential neighbourhood, the Mirfa Beach Master Plan, includes 410 Emirati villas with all of the infrastructure and community facilities constructed by Musanada, who are the official project developer for the community, working in coordination with the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA). Damac Properties’ Damac Esclusiva and Damac Tower by Paramount Hotels and Resorts projects on King Fahd Road have completed 75% of the cladding works.
