Since July 2019, Renaud Capris leads Enova, a joint venture between Majid Al Futtaim and Veolia created in 2002, providing energy and facility management services for a wide portfolio of public and private clients across the Middle East.
Renaud joined Enova after nearly two decades within the Veolia Group, working in positions across the Energy business in France and Eastern Europe. Renaud previously led Siram by Veolia in Italy, focusing on energy efficiency across a wide portfolio of industries in the region.
Renaud holds an Engineering degree from Ecole Spéciale de Mécanique et d’Electricité (ESME Sudria) in Paris, France.
Since his start as CEO of Enova, Renaud placed a high importance on continuing the digital transformation journey with a strong focus on being customer-centric and supporting clients following the motto #SustainingYourGrowth. Both focus areas became even more visible and crucial during the Covid pandemic, when Enova rose to the challenge and presented as a true partner to clients across all industries.
Another area Renaud is promoting as the company’s leader is the staff well-being. Not only during the pandemic but all year round, he is leading by example and putting staff’s health & safety first.
In addition to a general growth mindset and strategy, Renaud is also passionate about driving sustainability in the MENA region, supporting both private and public entities in reducing their carbon footprints through Energy Performance Contracts. Ideally, all pure FM contracts should be completed by energy and water conservation measures as well as on-site Solar PV plants.
