The Pre-School Learning Alliance of the UK has accredited Hummingbird Early Learning Centre, one of the top institutions for early childhood education and development in the UAE, and it has announced the opening of its newest nursery branch in Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA), which is scheduled to open in January 2023.
Hummingbird’s new location, which serves the working-age population in and surrounding DAFZA, one of the Middle East’s fastest-growing free zones and home to more than 3,100 firms, is outfitted with cutting-edge amenities. A personalised and hands-on approach to childcare provides a home-away-from-home setting while incorporating learning through play framework, ensuring each child receives the most excellent care and attention throughout the year.
Tanja Spasojevic, General Manager of Al Tamimi Investments (ATI) Education – Hummingbird and Ora nurseries, says, “We are thrilled to grow our family in the UAE and very excited to welcome children and parents to our new DAFZA nursery from the 2023 – 2024 academic year. DAFZA is a thriving community, and we look forward to supporting the development of every child within this prestigious neighbourhood. We also recognise that flexibility is key, and by operating the longest opening hours in Dubai, we’re able to provide the best possible support for hard-working parents in the area.”
In addition to the first opening in 2008, Hummingbird also opened a preschool in the same neighbourhood in 2009, a nursery in Abu Dhabi’s Al Reem Island in 2010, and far more expansion last year. The fourth nursery in the UAE, the DAFZA branch, offers pupils between the ages of four months and five years a variety of secure, engaging, and welcoming learning possibilities woven throughout the new nursery’s facilities, which extend over 400 meters. The new branch will contain an art studio and open space and adopt a modern teaching style.
Hummingbird DAFZA is prepared to run the most extended working hours in Dubai, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Monday through Friday, recognising the demand for flexibility among parents with busy schedules.
Dani Tabbara, COO of Al Tamimi Investments, adds, “For over a decade, Hummingbird Early Learning Centre has been serving the growing community of working parents who want to provide their children with the best opportunities for early learning and education in a caring, secure and stimulating way. This newest nursery opening in DAFZA is a testament to the brand’s reputation and serves to strengthen our presence in the UAE.”
