Kuwait-based logistics provider, Agility, announced that it has settled a criminal case involving the US government food-supply contracts that the company held from 2003 till 2010.
In the criminal portion of the case, the company agreed to plead to a misdemeanour in connection with a single invoice valued at $551, it said in a statement to Dubai Financial Market.
Once finalised, a settlement will resolve all outstanding criminal issues with the US government in connection with the prime vendor contracts for Agility, its affiliates, employees, directors and officers.
Separately, the firm also said it settled agreements with the Defense Logistics Agency resolving all pending and potential administrative claims between Agility and DLA.
Once made effective, the agreements will allow the logistics provider to pursue new US government contracts, the statement said.
