Global leader in industrial supply chain solutions, V-Line Europe, announced the establishment of V-Line Middle East in Saudi Arabia with a full trading licence.
The initial investment of nearly SAR27mn will contribute to creating about 100 new jobs, added the Saudi Gazette report.
This development marks one of the largest investments from a foreign small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) in Saudi Arabia and one that advances the goals of a robust and diversified economy of the Kingdoms Vision 2030, it said.
V-Line Europe founder and CEO, Detlef Daues, said: “The establishment of the Middle Eastern unit is a testament to the companys enduring success in the kingdom, which began with the launch of its Jubail branch in 2008 under the leadership of Shahzad Haider.”
The company has appointed Anas El Arras as the CEO of the new unit, bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge to the position, added the report.
