Jacques Adem led the supply chain automation movement and co-founded Logsquare FZCO in 2009. He has since managed the company’s operations. Jacques has amassed over 20 years of experience in the Supply Chain Solutions and Intralogistics domains by utilising his academic background in engineering and management.
He maintains close ties to the maritime sector, having had a positive first career in the family-run industry there. As a business director, Jacques led significant projects in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). He also introduced creative material handling solutions in various supply chain applications, spanning the entire cycle from inception to handover.
Based on its experience with traditional solutions, Logsquare has determined that automation and robotics are becoming more and more necessary. After completing significant projects in the region, the team works to support the expanding FMCG, omni-channel retail, and e-commerce industries, among others, and helps logistic operators improve their capacities. Systems from Logsquare include AMR, AGVs, ASRS, Advanced Picking Modules, Automation Controls and Software, and Transport and Sortation Systems.
Local engineering and implementation skills are Logsquare’s key differentiator. For the past fourteen years, Logsquare has been publishing success and fulfilment stories about the following: Emirates Flight Catering West Wing (EKFC 3) Material Handling System, Dnata Freight Gate 5 large load (ULD) handling ASRS, Mondelez Bahrain High-Density Automated Storage System for finished goods and packaging material, Areej Vegetable Oils Oman fully integrated robotic distribution center, Tamer Medical Equipment order picking and delivery facility in Jeddah, Omega DC rack supported warehouse (the highest in MENA), as well as most recent deployments for Trilogi Logistics in the retail industry and multiple e-commerce fulfilment centres for BFL, Amazon and Noon.
