ABB has appointed Mostafa AlGuezeri as the new Managing Director for its operations in the United Arab Emirates and Gulf countries.
AlGuezeri replaces Frank Duggan, who holds the dual role of Managing Director for UAE and Gulf countries as well as President of the Asia, Middle East and Africa region. Duggan will become President of the Europe region for ABB.
AlGuezeri will lead the ABB business with a key focus on strengthening relationships with ABBs customers in the utility, industry, transportation and infrastructure sectors, to help accelerate sustainable value creation and ensure efficient operation of their businesses.
Mostafa brings a wealth of experience to the role and to the region, where he has worked in ABB for the last twenty years. He was most recently Country Managing Director for ABB in Qatar, said Frank Duggan President, Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) and member of the Group Executive Committee of ABB.
ABB is ideally positioned to make even greater contributions to the sustainable growth of the UAE and to deliver on the relevant areas of the countrys Vision 2021 plan, added Duggan.

ABB has operated it in the UAE for over 40 years. It currently operates from two corporate offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi with a manufacturing and service facility in the Al Quoz industrial area in Dubai.
