Aldar Properties has announced plans for what it describes as the largest entertainment, education, and learning project in the UAE.
The developer will open the first KidzMondo theme park in the UAE at The Mall at World Trade Center Abu Dhabi (WTCAD) during the first quarter of 2017, it said in a statement.
KidzMondo City, a miniature city dedicated to children aged between 2 and 14 years, will offer activities that combine playtime with learning.
The project will be located in the heart of the capital, directly next to the popular Corniche where many young families choose to either congregate or reside.
Aldar did not reveal the cost of the project other than to say it would require an “extensive financial investment”.
The lease agreement was signed by Talal Al Dhiyebi – Chief Development Officer of ALDAR and Ali Kazma, Chairman of Kidz Holding and founder of the KidzMondo concept.
There are KidzMondo theme parks in several countries in the region including Lebanon, Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
