Cove Beach, the renowned lifestyle destination in Dubai, has revealed the location of its second UAE venue as Makers District at Abu Dhabi’s Al Reem Island.
Scheduled to welcome guests soon, the new venue, which sits directly on the beachfront along the pristine coastline of Makers District on Reem Island and opposite the Saadiyat Island Cultural District, will boast a 100-seat al fresco restaurant and lounge, as well as capacity for 1,000 guests by the beach and pools on sun loungers, day beds and cabanas.
Set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens with stunning picturesque views of the ocean and iconic Reem skyline, Cove Beach Abu Dhabi will provide a much-needed oasis on Reem Island and will stand out amongst the very few beach clubs on offer within the capital. With over 300 meters of beach front, a sea pool set within the ocean and the only swimmable beach on Al Reem Island, guests will also be able to undertake cool water sports such as kite surfing, a historic and popular favorite in these waters.
Just as in Dubai, guests to Cove Beach Abu Dhabi can expect regular updates to the venue’s ongoing programme of themed parties and events, including new bespoke events designed to reflect the Makers District and broader Abu Dhabi communities. Several of Cove’s signature activations, including ‘Rosé All Day’ Ladies’ Day and ‘Unplugged’, showcasing live performances for artists and music lovers, will feature at Makers District Beach, with details of a host of exciting new events, including a Saturday brunch, to be announced in the coming weeks.
The venue will provide a unique amenity to this highly dynamic and engaging environment. At its heart, Makers District will be a new creative hub in the Capital, attracting entrepreneurs, startups, established companies, thought leaders, artists, artisans, makers and creators. Cove Beach is set amongst the outstanding modern architecture of Makers District that will live and breathe creativity and imagination.
A partnership between Cove Beach and IMKAN Properties, Cove Beach Abu Dhabi is managed by LIVIT Hospitality Management, with the venture set to create 100 new jobs for the capital’s hospitality sector, signifying a prominent turning point for the industry.
