DAB Water Technology is eyeing at least 50 percent growth in the Middle East market in the next few years.
The Italian company believes infrastructure development in this region means there is a huge requirement for sustainable water pumping, submersible motoring and other water management technology solutions.
With a EUR 280mn ($296mn) turnover last year, DAB produces over three million pumps per year catering mainly to residential, commercial, and agricultural irrigation sectors.
Speaking at The Big 5 International Construction Show 2016, which took place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from November 21 to 24, 2016, Sandro Stramare, CEO of DAB Group, said: We are very focused on expanding the reach of our solutions in the Middle East, apart from the European, the US and Chinese markets.
We have recorded 65 percent growth in the European market. DABs added value has always been its ability to combine an extensive experience and tradition with research on technological innovation.
He continued: As part of our strategy to grab Middle East market share, we showcased technologically advanced solutions at The Big 5 in Dubai this year. These solutions set themselves apart thanks to their ease of installation, energy savings and maximum reliability in the domestic, residential and civil sectors.
The range of products on display includes specialist devices for water boosting, water supply and waste water sectors that are suitable for this market and capable of offering extremely high and efficient performance levels.
DAB offers a comprehensive range of water management solutions with more than 2,000 products. The company promotes various initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of its production.
