Doka Gulf, a regional arm of Austria-based Doka Group has been named a winner of the 10th Cycle of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award. Doka Gulf was recognised for its contribution towards the sustainable economic development of the UAE and took home the award in the construction category.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the ceremony was organised by Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the prestigious event took place at the Dubai Opera and included the attendance of more than 1,700 delegates from companies across the UAE and wider GCC region.
During the ceremony, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airlines & Group presented awards to businesses operating in several economic sectors, including trade & logistics, construction, manufacturing, finance and services.
H.E. Majid Saif Al Ghurair, Chairman of Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry congratulated Doka Gulf for winning another award in the 10th cycle and noted that all of the winning companies are raising industry standards and inspiring the rest of the business community to follow their example. He noted that the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Business Award remains the highest level of recognition for business excellence that companies in the GCC can aspire to.

Doka Gulf, whose formwork can be seen adorning the Dubai skyline with its distinctive yellow branding has been a regular contributor towards many of Dubai’s most recognisable buildings including the Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab.
