The CEO of Dubai Properties Group, Abdullatif AlMulla, has left the firm according to reports across the media to be replaced by former Emaar Properties chief, Abdullah Bin Lahej.
AlMulla, who would have celebrated one year with the group next month departed last week according to reports by Reuters, with Bin Lahej announced as his replacement today.
In a statement to Reuters on July 3, Dubai Properties Group said it “can confirm that Abdullatif AlMulla will be leaving to pursue new ventures”.
Bin Lahej left his post as group CEO of Emaar Properties in April of this year. He joined Emaar as an assistant project manager in 2000 and led flagship projects such as Downtown Dubai, including construction of the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest tower.
