Global professional services company, Accenture, has teamed up with the Dubai Expo 2020 team to help create an engaging digital experience for the high profile event.
As the first world expo to be held in the Middle East, African and South Asian region, Accenture has been recruited to ensure that visitors are welcomed with one of the fastest, most efficient and best-connected events that have been convened.
To achieve this, Accenture will work with Etisalat Digital, a business unit of the international telecoms and technology service provider Etisalat, Expos premier telecommunications and digital services partner.
Accenture will design, build, and run solutions in areas such as virtual assistance, business intelligence and analytics, mobile applications and technologies that support guest relations. Accenture will strive to create an integrated experience that mesmerises and captivates the multi-cultural audience.
Countries in excess of 180 are expected to participate and a projected 60,000 visitors every hour, Accentures role will be critical to ensuring that the Expo experience for every individual will be as outstanding as possible.
Over the coming years, Accenture and Etisalat Digital will be exploring ways to amplify and better the Expo experience through digital services. Examples of these services could include ensuring visitors have a virtual assistant to guide them around the site or allowing them to order their lunch at a restaurant before they even arrive using smart technology.
