Dubai-based integrated facilities management company, Al Shirawi FM, has been awarded the contract for the provision of IFM services for the International Humanitarian City (IHC) in Dubai Industrial City.
Al Shirawi FMs scope of work under the new contract covers complete MEP, specialised services management and housekeeping. The company has been successfully managing the entire 5,800ha of Dubai Industrial City for over seven years. This vast mixed-use development comprises several commercial buildings, over 1,000 warehouses, 120 showrooms, 22 labour camps and the entire infrastructure that surrounds it.

The IHC serves as a commercial and logistics centre for the distribution of humanitarian aid and hosts over nine United Nations agencies, over 40 NGOs, several intergovernmental organisations and commercial entities. It accepts delegates from across the globe, on a daily basis. The contract will require Al Shirawi FM to bank on its hospitality and engineering expertise to ensure seamless and smooth operations here.
