Riverland Dubai has released the first pictures of its newly filled river that will be home to the citys latest dining, retail and entertainment scene.
The 1km-long artificial waterway is being filled ahead of the theme parks anticipated opening date on 31 October 2016.
Visitors can enjoy boat rides along the river and enjoy lunch or dinner on its banks in one of the four theme zones that bring to life different eras of the past: The French Village, Boardwalk, India Gate, and The Peninsula.
Riverland Dubai will connect the three theme parks and water park at Dubai Parks and Resorts Motiongate, Bollywood and Legoland – and will be open to the general public as well as theme park ticket holders.
It will feature more than 50 restaurants and retail shops, coupled with planned street theatre and entertainment.
