Duserve has signed a five-year contract with Dubai master developer Nakheel, for the facility management of its flagship retail, leisure and entertainment destination, Ibn Battuta Mall.
Ibn Battuta is undergoing an expansion that will add 600 more retail, dining and entertainment outlets, in a new, 4.7 million sq. ft. extension. The mall will eventually span 7 million sq. ft. and featuring more than 1,000 shops.
Duserve has been commissioned to provide its expertise in the areas of operations and maintenance of electrical systems, HVAC and ventilation systems, fire and life systems, BMS, 24-hour MEP services, management of the audio visual and PA systems, as well as managing the internal and external building fabric and structure.
The facilities management company is wholly owned by Dubai Aviation City Corporation, the parent organisation of Dubai South.

Duserves key clients include the VIP Terminal at Dubai Souths Aviation District, Dragon Mart 1 and 2, Dubai Duty Free Headquarters and Warehouse, 52 schools under Abu Dhabi Education Council, Emirates Financial Towers DIFC, The Els Club, Dubai Sports City, Fitness First locations across the UAE, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Dubai Swimming Complex and NMC Hospital among others.
