ENGIE Solutions, an international leader in providing low carbon energy and services, has acquired Allied Maintenance Company Ltd (AMC), a Saudi-based total facilities management company with a wealth of experience across numerous locations in the Kingdom.
Formed in 1992, AMC has more than three decades of experience serving customers across a range of sectors in Saudi Arabia. With more than 1,300 staff, AMC currently manages multiple projects in strategic locations across Riyadh, Al Khobar, Dammam, Jubail, Khamis Mushayt, Taif, Jeddah, and Tabuk.
Through the acquisition, ENGIE will expand its presence in Saudi Arabia by leveraging AMC’s countrywide coverage and client base, while also proving customers with ENGIE’s world leading low carbon energy services – particularly in the areas of energy efficiency and digitization.
ENGIE’s portfolio in the region includes bespoke and performance-based energy services built on people, expertise and cutting-edge technologies. An objective of ENGIE’s growing presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is to elevate technical capabilities by upskilling the local workforce and deploying new and sustainable solutions designed to optimize energy consumption, asset performance, and operating costs.
