Dubai-based facilities management firm, Imdaad, arranged a special vaccination session against COVID-19 for its personnel in Dubai.
More than 1,000 employees received the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine during the nine-hour inoculation drive, which took place at the company’s Manzeli accommodation facilities.
A total of 17 government personnel were on hand to oversee the proceedings and administer the vaccinations, as well as provide a thorough consultation and support to team members throughout the process.
The procedure included a rigorous health assessment, COVID-19 swab test, and post-vaccination observation for each individual. This event was the first of several that the company has planned as part of its ongoing campaign to promote the benefits of vaccinations among its employees.
Jamal Abdulla Lootah, Group CEO, Imdaad, who has already received the vaccine, said: “We thank the government for making the vaccine available to citizens and residents at the earliest, as part of the UAE leadership’s vision to proactively ensure the safety and wellbeing of the country and its people.
“Imdaad is proud to be one of the first companies to actively participate in this vaccination programme by encouraging our team members to get vaccinated and offering them convenient access to the government’s vaccination service.
“Since the onset of the pandemic, the health and wellbeing of our employees, clients, and the communities we serve have been our number one priority. We are confident that our continued efforts will not only safeguard the workplace but also contribute to creating a safer UAE and a brighter future for all.”
