The Kuwait government is set to launch several development projects including building of new roads and related infrastructure at an investment of KWD8bn.
According to the state news agency Kuna citing a top official, the authority had hammered out a plan to execute up to 80 ventures aimed at facilitating traffic in coming years.
Ahmad Al Hesan, the director general of the roads authority and land transports, revealed: “The projected budget for next year was KWD500mn, in addition to KWD13mn earmarked for miscellaneous expenditures. Eight of these projects have already been finalised.”
