Rezaik Abdallah Al Gedrawi Company has been awarded infrastructure contracts worth SAR 315mn ($84mn) for two major residential projects at the King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) in Saudi Arabia.
The first contract worth SAR 235mn ($63mn) is for infrastructure and landscape works for the fourth and fifth phase of the Al-Talah Gardens project.
The development is spread over an area of 1.1 million square metres and is serviced with infrastructure
and amenities, including water networks, sewage systems, telecommunication network, safety, security, drainage network, electricity and lighting.
The other contracts worth SAR80mn ($21mn) will see Rezaik Abdallah Al Gedrawi ready infrastructure for the Golf Course Communities 3 and 4 at Al Murooj district in KAEC.
KAEC is a huge development on the Red Sea around 100km north of Jeddah. The city will cost around $85bn to be build and be around the size of Washington when complete.
