Samana was awarded the Building Completion Certificate (BCC) last month by Dubai Development Authority for its residential project Samana Greens at Arjan, after which it held a handover ceremony on 17 February.
The G+4 Samana Greens sits on a built-up area of 119,580sqft and houses 122 units comprising studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments, along with six retail spaces at the ground level.
Dubai Real Estate Regulatory Authority’s (RERA) site inspection team inspected the project in July 2020 and showered praises on the project progress which was achieved despite the difficulties caused by COVID-19.
Imran Farooq, CEO of Samana Developers, said: “It is a milestone achievement for the entire team of Samana Developers, its contractors and consultants. Keeping the momentum and consistent in construction was an uphill task during the pandemic lockdown period. In a way, we have set a new benchmark.”
The developer managed to fast-track the construction by introducing double shifts, monitoring workers’ health condition, ensuring PPE usage, keeping SOPs intact, following project timelines and remote monitoring through CCTV cameras installed at the project site and connecting them to Samana’s back-office.
Samana earlier announced that at the back of record highest sales revenues in 2020 and positive outlook for 2021, it has increased the headcount by 55% for 2021 to double up the sales revenue.
The company also plans to launch three new residential projects in Dubai in this year, including Samana Golf Avenue at Dubai Studio City. Ground-breaking for this project is scheduled for this month and the project is valued at Dhs100.
