Construction consultancy firm Turner & Townsend has recently made three new appointments to its senior management team in the Middle East.
Adam Ralph
Taking on the role of UAE Country Manager, Adam Ralph is charge of more than 330 professionals, based across Turner & Townsend’s two UAE hub offices. He will be responsible for driving the growth of its UAE business and delivery of its 2025 vision.
Since joining Turner & Townsend in 2013, Adam has been instrumental in supporting the evolution of the business throughout the region, becoming a trusted advisor on major regional real estate and infrastructure schemes. His direction has seen the business’ real estate division expand significantly across the region, most recently in Saudi Arabia.
He has played a key part in Turner & Townsend’s year-on-year growth, which he achieved through the strategic and continual diversification of sectors, service offerings, and geographical footprint.
Ali Al Ashbal
Joining the team is also Ali Al Ashbal as Director of Contract Services in the Middle East. Ali will help lead growth in the claims and dispute management area.
A civil engineer by profession, Ali’s career has focused on contract, claims management, and dispute resolution with over 20-years’ experience in the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.
Ali has been appointed and retained as advisor to many of the region’s prominent clients. His experience covers a broad range of industries and includes preparing expert reports and claims in complex disputes, including major civil engineering, oil and gas, and airport projects within the region. He has comprehensive experience providing clients with strategic advice in dispute avoidance, amicable settlement, and mediation.
Andrew Quinn
Andrew Quinn becomes Turner & Townsend’s Country Manager in Oman, appointed to drive the future growth and expansion of the Omani business.
Andrew has over 20 years of experience, graduating with a Master’s in Quantity Surveying from London South Bank University, UK. He joined Turner & Townsend in the UAE in 2014 as an associate director and was promoted a year later in 2015 to director.
In 2019, he relocated to join Turner & Townsend’s business in Oman, where he has since worked closely with his predecessor to manage the strategic growth of the Omani team.
He takes over the position from Ryan Shalabi, who is currently leading the company’s regional Contract Services unit, after being at the heart of the company’s growth and development in Oman for the past three years.
