The Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council (UPC) will announce updates on the Emirates most ambitious development project during this weeks Cityscape at ADNEC.
The UPC will unveil infrastructure progress on Zayed City Master Plan, located between Abu Dhabi International Airport and Mohammed bin Zayed City, as well as the projects official brand identity and logo.
Cityscape visitors will get the chance to experience a fully interactive holographic tour, showcasing key features of the vibrant 45km2 district. They can also take a closer look at a development that will eventually house more than 370,000 residents.
The second day of Cityscape will see the UPC sign an agreement with a number of the UAEs leading property companies, committing them to a wide range of community initiatives for the UAEs Year of Giving 2017.
Under the agreement, the UPC will work with private sector developers to plan new community amenities such as parks, as well as establish initiatives to support families of the UAEs Martyrs. The signing ceremony will confirm specific projects that each company will lead under the UPCs CSR Year of Giving Initiative.
H.E. Falah Al Ahbabi, Director General of the UPC, said: Cityscape Abu Dhabi is a crucial event in shaping the urban development of Abu Dhabi and one that has a direct impact on local communities. As such, it is a fitting occasion to reveal significant updates on the Zayed City Master Plan, a project that is one of the largest and most ambitious in the UAE.
We are looking forward to welcoming visitors to our stand and introducing them to interactive experiences that reveal the huge range of residential, commercial and community developments at Zayed City.
Cityscape is also the ideal platform to officially launch the UPCs principal CSR initiative for this year. This is a truly unique initiative which will bring together the public and private sector as they work together in order to achieve the objectives of the 2017 Year of Giving and our leadership goals.
Cityscape Abu Dhabi takes place at ADNEC from April 18-20. The UPC stand will be located in Hall 8, Stand Number 8F20.
