The project comprises four key components crucial for transforming Kuwait’s main aviation gateway:
- Upgrading the central runway and associated taxiways to 4,300 meters, adhering to ICAO code 4F standards with a precision approach CAT III B.
- Expanding the cargo apron to 1.5 km² to accommodate 77 aircraft stands, addressing future logistical demands.
- Establishing a new VVIP (AMIRI) Apron with dedicated aircraft stands and a run-up area for distinguished guests.
