As CEO of Losberger De Boer’s Rental Projects Division, Francis Scholten and her team have delivered structures to support the events industry and help organisations get back to work.
Losberger De Boer has delivered world firsts, including the construction of Jeddah Superdome, which holds Guinness World Records™ titles for the world’s largest geodesic dome and largest dome with continuous roof. The modular construction specialist also delivered event spaces that captured the world’s imagination and helped reignite a passion for coming together, including providing the physical conference location of 37,500 square metres for COP26 — a mega assignment in which sustainability and carbon savings played a major role.
Scholten has overseen the delivery of large-scale vaccination and testing centres throughout Europe and the Middle East. Designed by Losberger De Boer engineers, in close collaboration with healthcare professionals, these centres have enabled more people to be vaccinated safely.
Losberger De Boer has also remained committed to sustainability, joining the EcoVadis platform to analyse the organisation’s CSR performance, enabling the company to further improve its policies, actions, and results, as well as setting realistic targets towards becoming a carbon neutral Losberger De Boer in the foreseeable future.
