As CEO of AESG, Saeed founded and built AESG into one of the Middle East and Europe’s most respected specialist consultancy, engineering and advisory firms with a core focus on sustainable urban development.
Under Saeed’s direction, AESG has developed a strong reputation for delivering the highest quality consultancy in sustainable building design, fire and life safety, façade engineering, building commissioning and digital asset management, environmental consultancy, strategy and advisory, carbon management and acoustic consultancy services.
Saeed also served as Chairman of the Emirates Green Building Council between 2013-2020 as well as Vice Chair of the World Green Building Council MENA Network from 2011 to 2014. Saeed has been a Board Member of the World Green Building Council since 2015 and is part of the Board’s Executive Committee, providing leadership to the global sustainable building movement.
Over the last 12 months, AESG increased its staff by over 100% and revenue turnover by 120%.
The firm is currently working on Neom, The Red Sea, Amaala, Diriyah Gate, Qiddiya and a number of other giga-projects in the Kingdom. In the UAE, AESG is working on the iconic One Zabeel project along with numerous hotels throughout the Emirates. AESG also delivered key projects for Expo 2020, which included the UAE Pavilion, Expo Village, the Sustainability Pavilion and numerous national pavilions.
The firm has committed to leading the digital revolution in the built environment and adopted the innovative approach of utilising BIM technology, parametric design, performance simulation, digital twins and IoT integration to optimise engineering solutions. AESG’s Data+ platform drives capabilities and offerings in data management of the built environment.
