
Salma’s 17-year career in construction began with Mace’s Graduate Programme in 2007 and has spanned Syria, Egypt, UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia. She played a key role in Expo 2020 Dubai, delivering the Surreal water feature and parks, and later served as Project Director for a major Abu Dhabi regeneration project. Now, she leads Mace’s project and programme management across the Middle East and Africa.
In her leadership roles, Salma has been instrumental in upskilling Mace‘s workforce through comprehensive training modules and implementing best practices. She has set new standards in project management, ensuring Mace remains at the forefront of the industry. Her commitment to supporting graduates through training and mentorship has been unwavering, helping them thrive in the construction sector.
Salma champions gender equality by promoting diverse recruitment and mentoring women in construction. Committed to innovation and sustainability, she drives efficiency through new tools and explores AI’s potential in the industry.
