We have added a few new categories for the 2021 edition of the Logistics & Transport Awards organised by BNC Publishing’s Logistics News Middle East magazine. The grand event will take place on 8 September at Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk. Find the new categories here.
The awards are aimed at recognising past triumphs and acknowledging the future strategies of logistics and supply chain companies from around the region.
The awards will cater to individuals and companies from a variety of sectors including transportation, cargo, warehouses, eCommerce, supply chain, and technology.
Companies are welcome to nominate people, projects, and facilities across 20 categories. The entries will be judged by a carefully selected panel of industry experts. Kindly fill out the form before 15 August 2021.
The additional categories are:
3PL Company of the Year
This award will recognise third-party logistics for outsourcing eCommerce logistics processes to a third-party business, including inventory management, warehousing, and fulfilment. Third-party logistics are now being referred to as supply chain integration of warehousing operations and transportation services.
Breakbulk Operator of the Year
A lot of infrastructure and construction projects across the region need top-notch breakbulk partners. This award will honour the breakbulk logistics providers who have outperformed in this challenging sector.
CSR Initiative of the Year
Contenders for the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiative of the Year award will need to provide details of an initiative successfully executed in the past 12 months. The category is open to all companies operating within the logistics sector in the GCC. Special merit will be awarded to companies that can demonstrate the initiative has had a wider impact in the industry.
Retail Supply Chain of the Year
This category will acknowledge the biggest and smallest firms in online and brick-and-mortar retail in the region that are discovering new ways to increase the speed of delivery and product offerings to customers while limiting costs and offering top-notch service.
CEO of the Year
The award CEO of the Year will go to the senior executive of a leading logistics company who can demonstrate the greatest impact on his/ her logistics-related business in the last 12 months.
MRO Company of the Year
Air cargo is a large component of the logistics industry. With this category we honour the companies that do the repair, service, or inspection of an aircraft or aircraft component to ensure that air cargo and crew are safe and secure onboard.
Digital Solutions Provider of the Year
The award will recognise a digital service provider in the logistics industry. Digital freight providers use automation to connect shippers and carriers to minimise human intervention and error while streamlining freight procurement.
