What are the Construction Innovation Awards?
Qatar is currently investing billions of dollars in developing infrastructure and many other major building projects as the country gears up to host the FIFA World Cup in 2022. The Construction Innovation Awards Qatar is an annual event celebrating the hard work, talent and innovation in the country’s dynamic construction sector. Winners will be recognised across more than 20 categories including company, individual and project awards.
The event is hosted by Construction Business News Middle East magazine, a product of BNC Publishing.
Where and when is it taking place?
The event takes place at the Grand Hyatt, Doha on Wednesday, May 10, 2017

What is the nomination period?
The nomination period is for the full year from May 1, 2016 to April 30, 2017
Does a project need to have been completed to nominate it?
Major structural work needs to have been completed by the nomination deadline. A project that is still at the concept stage does not qualify. Likewise, a project cannot have been completed prior to May 1, 2016 to qualify.
Can I nominate myself or my own company?
Absolutely. Individuals and companies can nominate themselves, their colleagues or their clients.
Can I nominate for more than one category?
Yes. You can nominate for as many categories as you like but you MUST complete a separate entry for each nomination.
How will the winners be chosen?
Winners will be decided by a panel of anonymous judges
